YCCI Seeks Qualified Candidates for Clinical Trials Administration
The Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI) is expanding its clinical research administration team. There are currently several exciting opportunities to join our staff and help direct Yale’s clinical research enterprise as it continues to grow.
YCCI is the administrative hub for Yale’s Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), providing support for research across Yale University, Yale Medical Group and the Yale New Haven Health System, which includes one of the largest hospitals in the nation.
We have already assembled a terrific team with recognized expertise in clinical trials that includes Kelly Anastasio, Rhoda Arzoomanian, and most recently Alyssa Gateman, who arrived from Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. Our latest newsletter highlights the myriad ways we already support clinical research and we are looking to further expand our staff in key areas:
Clinical Trial Management:
Associate Director of Multicenter Project Management & Regulatory Affairs, a newly created position that represents an unprecedented opportunity to define and shape this brand new unit that was created to help manage our more than 100 multicenter trials. Until recently, Yale’s multicenter trial management was decentralized; this is an opportune time to provide a centralized service that will offer efficiency to investigators who don’t have the resources to manage multicenter studies on their own. The position will include providing technical and regulatory expertise to research faculty and staff; hiring and supervising multicenter project management staff; setting policies for the unit; working with senior faculty and leadership; and traveling around the country to lead studies.
Clinical Research Coordinators: YCCI is seeking experienced research study coordinators to safely and efficiently implement and support research studies. As part of a team of research coordinators that works with investigators from across the medical campus, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills on a wide variety of studies.
Office of Quality Assurance
Clinical Research Monitors: YCCI has increased its QA staff five-fold since 2008 and we are continuing to expand to add more resources. In this position, you will be the lead study monitor for clinical trials conducted at the Yale School of Medicine. This role will be focused on providing oversight of all study site activities (via on-site and remote monitoring at participating sites across the U.S.) to ensure successful trial execution and compliance to protocol, applicable SOPs, GCPs and federal regulations.
Yale offers excellent benefits, including comprehensive health care, retirement annuity plan, generous paid time off and tuition assistance. Yale was recently named one of the state’s best places to work by Connecticut Magazine and one of the “100 Best Companies” in the nation by Working Mother. Salaries are competitive and market-driven. In some cases, YCCI is offering relocation packages to qualified candidates.
