Dr. Grey is director of the School's NIH-funded Center for Self and Family Management of Chronic Conditions and a related T32. A widely recognized scholar in the behavioral aspects of childhood diabetes, Dr. Grey is an authority on survey and clinical experimental methods. In addition to the P30 and T32 awards, Dr. Grey is the Principal Investigator on two R01 awards, one focusing on behavioral treatment for youth with type 1 diabetes and the other on prevention of type 2 diabetes in high risk youth. She is the author of nearly 200 journal articles, chapters, and abstracts, and has received numerous regional and national honors for her research. She has served on multiple NIH and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality review panels and has mentored more than 30 fellows, several of whom have gone on to active careers in clinical research.
