Programs for Junior Faculty

Yale’s Mentored Clinical Research Scholar Program (K12RR017594)

The k12 program seeks to develop a cadre of superbly trained investigators who will pursue academic careers and assume leadership roles in patient-oriented research.  Although this program does not confer a degree, many of the junior faculty who enroll in this program receive a graduate degree in one of the degree-granting programs that are part of the Investigative Medicine Program.

School of Public Health Programs for Junior Faculty

Each year, 1-2 junior faculty members from diverse medical school departments (recently, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, Radiology, and Surgery) enroll in the MPH program. Two junior faculty (Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynecology) enrolled in the new MS in EPH CDE track in 2005. These faculty are often funded by K-awards.
