Gina Ann D'Agostino, RN

Ms. D’Agostino has used her prior experience in nursing education and nursing management to assist new investigators with managing their research teams as well as educating them in the development of protocol and consent documents utilizing all pertinent regulatory guidelines. Her clinical experience in pediatric nursing has been an invaluable resource for pediatric investigators who require assistance in writing pediatric protocols, consent, and assent documents. Ms. D’Agostino is an associate member of the National Association of GCRC Nurse Managers and has presented at the GCRC National Annual Meetings on such topics as “Leadership for the Research Nurse.” Recently, Ms. D’Agostino worked with Dr. Robert Levine (YCCI Research Ethics Program Director and Co-Director of the Yale University Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics) in writing web-based, educational modules for the Human Subject Research Resource and Education Program. Ms. D’Agostino is an active member of the Yale University School of Medicine Clinical Research Nurse Coordinators Group.  In May of 2005, Ms. D’Agostino received Yale-New Haven Hospital’s Nursing Leadership Award for Nursing Research.
